How do I win Prizes?
Mini-Quiz
Participants who answer all questions correctly in the mini-quiz (10 out of 10) will be asked to register for entry into a lucky draw. Participants are allowed MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS for the mini-quiz. 10 lucky participants will be drawn at random and they stand to win $20 worth of vouchers each for each round of the mini-quiz.
Final Quiz: The Budget Trivia Master Challenge
Participants will be asked to register before they began the final Quiz. Participants are limited to ONLY ONE ATTEMPT. The top scorers at the end of the quiz period stand a chance of appearing in the MOF Hall-of-Fame. The Hall-of-Fame will be updated every Tuesday and Friday Morning. The top 5 lucky participants stand to win $200 worth of shopping vouchers. In the event of a tie in scores, the winner will be drawn randomly by ballot.
Take part as a student (open to Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges/Centralised Institutes only)
This year, we will have an additional schools component where students can also win prizes for their school by accumulating the highest total score with their schoolmates. Participants have to enter the full name of their school in the registration form to take part as a student.
The MOF Hall-of-Fame will feature 2 separate categories for Secondary Schools and JC/CI : (i) the students with the highest scores and (ii) the schools with the highest cumulative scores.
For each weekly mini-quiz, 10 students who have scored full marks will be drawn at random and they stand to win $20 worth of vouchers each.
For the Budget Trivia Master Challenge, 5 highest scorers from Secondary Schools and 5 highest scorers from JC/CI will each stand to win $200 worth of bookstore vouchers. In the event of a tie in scores, the winners will be drawn randomly by ballot. The top 3 Secondary Schools and JC/CI with the highest cumulative score earned by their students will also receive a Challenge Trophy each.
